13th Annual Mid-City Dog Days Sidewalk Sale Event Set for Weekend of August 4th and 5th

Accompanying images can be viewed on page 4 in the current issue PDF

Mark your calendars and get ready for what its business and community volunteer organizers describe as “a weekend of local shopping, eating, sipping, listening, and people watching, filled with special offers and promotions at every corner” along U Street to 9th and south on 14th and with places to check out in the 1400 block of P and the 1300 block of Q.

What one can look forward to is participation by old and new retailers along with the popular restaurants and art galleries as well as the neighborhood’s music venues and community centers. With “street musicians, never-ending sidewalk sales, restaurant specials, and events up and down the corridor, the 2012 Mid-City Dog Days will be the biggest one yet,” the organizers are promising.
