Zoning Regulations Review Public Hearings Now Underway

Tue. & Wed., Nov. 19 & 20 (6pm): These are the final two DC Zoning Commission public hearings on the proposed re-write of the District’s zoning regulations being held in Room 220-South of One Judiciary Square (441 4th St., NW), starting at 6 pm each evening. The text of the proposed revised regulations is available at dcoz.dc.gov/ZRR/ZRR.shtm.

These hearings are the culmination of a lengthy process leading to the first major revisions to DC zoning regulations since 1958, and follows the January 16, 2013 the DC Office of Planning’s completion of its city-wide series of community forums. The new regulations will impact every neighborhood in the city.
