Dupont Circle Village to Hold Annual Gala & Silent Auction

Apr. 17 (6:30-9:30pm): Plans include recreating the spirit and music of the jazz age, nner, fabulous buffet dinner, raffle prizes and wonderful items to bid on during the silent auction. Among the those offerings will be stays in Paris, in houses in Provence and Santa Fe and a country house in Rappahannock County; a picnic for six on Sycamore Island;  and a very special guided tour of the Georgetown Flea Market by a seasoned lover of bargains.

In addition, there this year’s “Celeb Salons” will feature Jim Lehrer and his wife Kate,  Brookings Institution economist Henry Aaron, the Washington National Opera’s Artistic Director Francesca Zambello, New York Times Washington Bureau Chief Elisabeth Bumiller, the acclaimed Indian restaurant Rasika’s ownerAshok Bajaj, along with seven other equally exciting Washingtonians.
